MOM-TOG WORKSHOP
LIMITED OFFERINGS COMING JANUARY 2019
Putting a camera to your eye trains you to see the beauty and the remarkable in the everyday. You will start to see your family, your children, and the special moments of their lives beyond the mess, beyond the mundane. Picking up my first DSLR camera and learning how to use it has been one of the best decisions in my life. Not only do I have albums upon albums of art and memories as a result, but I also have a different, more gentle, more loving perspective.
THE DETAILS
The next FLP's Momtog Workshop
starts in January. It is a three class workshop with a Shoot-out at the
end. The classes are held in FLP's Sidney BC studio and the
Shoot-Out will be held at a local outdoor space (weather permitting). The
classes are designed to be about an hour long (might go a bit longer depending
on questions etc) and start at 7 PM. CLASS DATES: JANUARY 15th. 22nd, 29th, and the shootout is FEB 2nd. So leave the kiddos at home, escape
the bedtime routine and come have tons of fun with us learning how to use that
fancy camera that's been in the box in your closet since last Christmas! You
will learn how to see light, how to use your camera on Manual Mode, how to
compose a beautiful image, and how to edit your images using a free software
program.
The workshop fee is $200 (plus tax) which
is due at booking. To ensure Sarah can help and support each
participant, the course will only accommodate 5 students! You will get
three in studio classes, lots of time to practice with your own equipment and a
special Shoot-Out where you can practice on your own kids! There will be
homework to encourage you to get out and practice. You will also be added
to FLP's Private Workshop Facebook Group for additional and continued support,
answers to questions, constructive feedback, and photography challenges
too. The Group membership doesn't end when the workshop does! You
can post your images for constructive criticism, tips, and feedback for as long
as you'd like.
